The Gaia Protocol

Imagine Jack Reacher dropped into the world of 1984. The year is 2050 and rapid onset climate change has inflicted catastrophic consequences. NATO imposes a global set of laws called the Gaia Protocol whereby any act that harms the environment is punishable by death.
