I am a writer, museum professional and a consultant based in the Cumbria, and usually to be found in a lake, up a fell or at home with too many cats. My fiction writing has been listed for the Northern Writers Awards, The Times/Chicken House Children’s Fiction Competition and The Bath Children's Novel Awards. A non-fiction book, Chasing the Phantom: the lost words of Nowell Oxland, in collaboration with Stephen Cooper, is my first published work, which comes out on 3 November 2025.
