Luis Ortiz is an artist, teacher, writer, and editor. He has authored numerous books, including the Hugo and Locus Award finalist “Infinity x Two: The Art + Life of Ed & Carol Emshwiller.” Ortiz studied at St. John's University, The New School, and Parsons School of Design. As a teenager, he published a Puerto Rican poetry zine called "X-ray Your Zebra” (XYZ) using a tabletop postcard letterpress. He writes in his second language.
