I wrote my first space opera "novel" at age 12, in 2006. It was a horrendous 167,000 words, and I did not know how to indent a paragraph. It was a youthful attempt, but it awakened my love for writing. I kept writing through my teen years, and my 20s, shelved many more manuscripts, and in my 30s, I finished my MFA in Creative Writing from New York University. I write science fiction with a healthy dash of romance. Think romantasy but with more artificial humans and space travel.
