I am a semi-retired lawyer practising commercial law in Quebec for over 50 years mostly in Québec, Canada, with a U.S. practice in intellectual property. I began writing my novel "Mystic Redress" just after the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. It is inspired by a case in which I was involved where I was exposed to some of the indigenous people of North America. While the story is inspired by some actual historical persons and events, the characters and incidents are invented.
