After writing several non-fiction books I have been writing short fiction for a few years. Enjoying sifting through the mess of life experienced over several decades, and using different voices. Themes tend to be minor existential crises, squirm humour, uncomfortable family stuff, models of life situations compared, bewildered children, awkward sex, sudden tenderness, bewildered parents, what really happens, mental health issues, good days and bad days.
