My debut novel is set for release in March 2026 with a very small Newfoundland press. My short fiction has appeared in Best Canadian Stories 2025 & won awards. I raised two kids as a single mom and put myself through university one course per semester, graduating at age 50. I'm a diehard Montreal Canadians hockey fan and this novel was sparked by the memory of the old man who looked after the outdoor rink where I grew up, and from playing shiny on the swamp behind my house.
