I'm a composer/musician of jazz/electronic/ambient music who grew up in Italy, France and the UK. I founded the Sargasso label in 1993 to promote composers of experimental contemporary music. I have released over 30 albums of my music as well as writing for film, TV, theatre and dance performances. A few years ago, following my brother's death, I decided to write a novelised memoir of my last visit to him in Florida in 2007 that then expands to tell my family's history from World War 2 onwards.
