An illustrator of children’s books, 'Tither' escapes the tedium of London for The Wythen Wood, a world he has been able to visit since his own childhood. Hopelessly in love with forest-mage Senya, Tither is thrilled when she seeks his help. There is something amiss with the balance of magic in her world and those who speak out about it are disappearing. But soon their quest reveals that Tither's past shapes the very land around him. Healing in one world may threaten the existence of the other.
