Three generations of Jamaican men try to find a way to live their lives and love each other without coming undone. Eric, dreams of escaping to a good university; Winston, Eric’s father, contemplates a new life as Eric graows up; Hopeton, Winston's father, is trying to move on with his life since losing his wife, Shirley. Will they be able to remain together and admit how much they need each other, or will life in the big city pull them apart?
