"Watermelons and Broken Bottles."
by Foday Mannah

What is the price of joining a militia movement aiming to violently oust a foreign government and unite a country, divided for a hundred years. A young man watches Belfast burning and becomes an IRA Volunteer in the Republic of Ireland. He wrecks a Loyalist attempt to blow up an oil refinery, is jailed in Belgium, and saves the life of a Loyalist terrorist before his family torn apart. Peace settles the day-to-day fighting, but the struggle for unification continues as Brexit burns Britain.
