April 1778: The twelve thousand troops under the command of General George Washington have just spent a cruel winter at Valley Forge and wait for the spring thaw to continue their fight. An equally important conflict continues to the west, under the command of General Edward Hand. The rebels know they cannot fashion the country of their dreams unless they conquer the five hundred or so nations native to these lands. This critical victory will exact a terrible cost.
