I grew up in a small town in South Africa. Most of our holidays were spent on my grandfathers smallholding in Addo, close to Port Elizabeth. There was a small location in which about a 100 black people lived. My grndfather built them a rugby field and we spent many joyful hours there. After school i went to university to study for a teachers degree. Then i got a post in a black school in New Brighton, Port Elizabeth. And here another journey starts, through the uprisings, rugby and education .
