Dancer Shepherd Cowgirl Sky

In ancient Babylon, she was ill-used and ignored. In 1970s New Zealand, she is Sam, she is a drop-out linguistics student-come-dancer, and she is trouble. On the run after an unfortunate incident with a stiletto and a badly-behaved patron, Sam befriends a giant, hairy innocent young shepherd and a gun-toting, verbose Celtic cowgirl, who help her find refuge on a remote high-country sheep station. It’s the beginning of a wild and dangerous ride and Sam is not the only one with a troublesome past.
