I have always wanted to write but the nature of my job precluded that. Now that I am retired I can indulge my interest. I have chosen the crime genre because I enjoy the challenge of solution and the development of character. Gaffer is an interesting DCI with a great team and a wide range of interests not least his passion for the music of Glen Miller that cues the book titles. I am currently writing book five of the series.
