A L Vix lives in Cork with three teenagers and three cats. After a career in London journalism and an editor at Amazon Cork, she left the corporate rat race when her body went on strike with chronic pain and scoliosis. During recovery from carpal tunnel surgery, she found space for creativity to flourish. She started writing magical realism stories from the hope in her soul. She is chairperson of the Midleton Writers’ Group, organiser of the Midleton LitFest, and is writing a fantasy trilogy.
