Born and raised in Ferizaj, small town in Kosovo, under the shadow of the Milosevic regime, when Albanian students were expelled from schools, I learned resilience as early as I learned to read. I pursued English Language and Literature at the University of Pristina and later studied General Management at the University of Sheffield. Though life led me elsewhere, different career path, the flame of literature still burns brightly within me.
