I am a first-time author living in North Carolina. Born in Iowa to a mother who dedicated her life to serving the Lord, most of my younger years were spent attending church, school, and running track in a skirt. I obtained an athletic scholarship to attend Truman State Univ where I became the National Champion in the 400-meter hurdles. Graduating with a degree in business, my success on the track continued throughout my career where I now work for Duke Univ as a Sr Director
