Sandra Kasturi is a mixed-race poet, fiction writer, book reviewer and former publisher. She has had two collections of poetry published, both from Tightrope Books: The Animal Bridegroom and Come Late to the Love of Birds. Sandra has won prizes for her work, which has appeared in multiple magazines and anthologies. She was a finalist for the National Poetry Series in 2024. Sandra is fond of red lipstick, G&Ts, and the movie Aliens (original theatrical release only).
