Phil Callaghan is an Irish writer who lives in North Wales. He has always been a storyteller and his love of traditional tales underpins his preference for the Fantasy genre. He writes about divided cities and transformation, focusing on themes of identity, class and gender. He won the Book Edit Writers’ Prize (2025) and was a prize-winner in the Killer Twist Pitch Prize (2025). His work was in the top 100 of the Ascent Novel Prize (2026).
