Peter Wise has been a timber merchant, film editor, builder and kitchen designer. He has written twenty stage plays, several pilots for TV sitcoms and drama series, material for TV comedy shows. He has had six plays produced in fringe theatres. NOW A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE, his first novel, was partly inspired by Deirdre Bair's challenges while writing a biography of Samuel Beckett. He has had a life-long passion for the theatre and cinema.
