I’m a solicitor based in Bristol, and this is my first foray into writing fiction, specifically in the spy novel/thriller genre. I’ve been a fan of John Le Carre ever since I saw him giving a speech at my graduation ceremony some 35 years ago. It was around the time that the Berlin Wall came down, and his insights into those events had me, and the rest of the audience spellbound. Who knows, perhaps that lit a very long fuse in me.
