I was born in Zimbabwe and now live in Germany. I began writing poetry at nine and challenged myself to write a book at 17. Drawn to the pre-digital age, when letters took weeks to arrive, I gravitated towards historical fiction. As someone who researches history for fun, I was intrigued by stories that appeared in the margins, the lesser told parts and that became my niche as a writer.
