I’m a carer, manager, trainer and writer with over three decades of lived experience in residential and community care. I write fiction to tell the truth safely, using story to explore the humour, pressure and quiet rebellions of care while working within systems that often struggle or fail. Havit Hall was born from my motivation to share real-life care stories and dilemmas that honour the dignity of both carers and residents, encouraging others to reflect on social issues through storytelling.
