I have always been drawn to the power of words. From as early as grade four, writing became more than just an assignment, it was a challenge, a discipline, and a way to express myself. I remember sitting at my desk, carefully writing letters that I had to rewrite ten times before I could take a break, each version a little closer to what I wanted to say. That patience, that insistence on getting it right, became a part of who I am. I started taking my poetry and story telling seriously after.
