I have always loved books. As a girl, my father would take me to the library and we would both spend hours there just browsing and eventually choosing a small collection for the week. A love of literature led me to teaching. I wrote this book after my dad died of cancer as a way to honour his memory and process my grief. When I was later diagnosed with cancer I nearly deleted the entire manuscript, but a good friend convinced me not to. I hope you enjoy it.
