Storytelling has always been how I’ve tried to understand who holds power, who loses it, and what happens when it’s taken away. I earned my BFA in Creative Writing years ago, but my path hasn't followed any predictable arc. For over thirty years, my life was altered due to amnesia. When those memories began returning about a year and a half ago, it wasn’t some cinematic awakening. It was unexplicably frightening. Vermil!on Beach is a dystopian sci-fi novel with similarities of my own life.
