Ming Louie Stein is a Chinese-Canadian author who immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong in 1960. She began her career in the late 1970s as a typographical tradesperson. She started writing after retirement. Her debut Kintsugi: A Woman, an autofictional work inspired by her own experiences, explores themes of intergenerational trauma, cultural identity, and resilience. It was self-published in January 2025. I am submitting, Saint Annie which is my second book.
