I'm a retired South African advocate, entrepreneur and former parliamentarian. I've authored several non-fiction titles, including Fuelling the Empire (Wiley), and hold a PhD in Development Studies. My debur work of fiction is Shadow of the Odin, that I wrote drawing on my military training, academic background and lived experiences. My interest in political extremism and its fearful threat to civilised society underlies my motivation to write this book. This gives the story a compelling edge.
