One of the first fantasy movies I ever watched was “Flight of Dragons.” That hooked me. But all through those movies I was struck by how pathetic the female protagonist was. I wanted a story where my protagonist was already somebody who could fend for herself. So I wrote the story I wanted to read. A good story told well both entertains and delivers a message. I believe I have written that story.
