As an introvert, writing allows me to entertain people from a distance. I enjoy losing myself in plots and characters, and get inspired by a passing phrase, scenery or a memory. I have worked as a game ranger, and am living proof that you can outrun a hippo. I don't tell many people the things I have done, or survived, because they would seem like fiction. It's my inspiration for future stories. Now I write to get out of my own head and back with the horses I love and miss.
