As a child I immersed myself in any book I could lay my hands on. Each opened up a world so different to the ex-mining village where I grew up. However, it’s only in the last few years that I’ve started to write. I am inspired by the books I enjoy most. Those that take me along for the ride, leaving me with a sense of loss when I reach the last page and am forced to say goodbye to the characters. I hope readers of my book will experience the same when they step into the world I've created.
