I am an Australian-based journalist, editor and host of a travel podcast. I started my career as a hard news journalist more than 25 years ago, and have worked in PR and media roles across Australasia. In 2019, I won a Faber Academy scholarship with Allen & Unwin. My first crime manuscript was shortlisted and highly regarded in the Varuna & Affirm Press Mentorship Award 2018. I also scored 9/10 in the 2025 Hawkeye Publishing Manuscript Development Prize.
