The heart of my work is encompassing the underrepresented experience of being a Northerner South-Asian-Muslim in all sorts of genres and for all age-ranges, having been inspired by #OwnVoices to do so; one of my manuscripts won the Northern Writer’s Awards from New Writing North in 2022, and I have been featured in TLC’s Writer Showcase in 2024.
