I am a middle-aged teacher/mom/blogger/writer/traveler. I started writing very young. I won a poetry contest for a Philadelphia newspaper when I was in the seventh grade. I wrote stories and plays and newsletters throughout my teenage years. I majored in Communications in college, working in advertising and music marketing until I switched career gears to become a teacher. But it wasn't until my 50s that I finally found my voice. I am not happy if I am not writing. I can't stop, even if I try.
