I was a primary school classroom teacher for over thirty years, the last twenty of which were spent in headship of three different schools. I am passionate about all children accessing quality literature which they enjoy reading, because I firmly believe it gives them the tools they need to navigate a challenging world. I write for newly fluent readers through to upper middle grade/ young adult cusp titles. Now working as an educational consultant and advisor, I very much enjoy visiting schools.
