John Allan, born in Kent, England, studied art at Medway College of Art in the 1960s before building a career as an Art Director in advertising across Norway and London. After starting his own agency, health issues led him to leave the industry. He opened a gallery and framing business and became a fine artist. Recently, despite being dyslexic, he’s discovered the joy of writing—books and films—creating pictures with words. It’s addictive, enormous fun… spelling aside.
