A few years ago I went on a budget holiday through Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. While in Cambodia, my husband and I visited an orphanage run by a former colleague of his. During this visit, we were confronted with the country’s recent history and the lasting impact it continues to have on Cambodian society. Learning about these experiences, and witnessing the resilience of those rebuilding their lives, left a real impression on me. This became the inspiration for Cambodia’s Lost Child.
