I've always had a passion for the dramatic. I ran a theatre company in my 20s, enjoyed work as an actress, singer & model and then started writing for the stage. All this changed overnight when I was struck down with MS. Housebound and severely disabled, I spent a lot of time playing knock down ginger at death’s door, but in periods of remission I continued to write. The book that emerged was Captain d'Arkhouse, a comedy-Gothic-horror adventure for crossover Young Adult readers. Go figure.
