I write stories set in the distant past, recreating a lost time where the characters respond to their challenges just as we do today. I have been a boat builder, a furniture maker, a window maker, a mother of 3, an illustrator, an archaeologist and a carer for the elderly. I love to create. I love the landscape and what is hidden under our feet. I love to learn about the people of the past and to discover the lives older people of today have lived through. I love the diversity of us all.
