I am fascinated by the different selves we present to the world and the chaos that ensues when those worlds intersect. I studied creative writing in the 1970s and had travel features published in various ‘county’ magazines before life’s mundane needs became urgent. Diversion into the NHS lasted longer than planned and when I hit sixty, I decided it was ‘now or never’ to write my stories.
