I am a Jamaican-American writer, creative, and mother, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I obtained my MFA in Fiction Writing from Columbia University School of the Arts and my BA in Creative Writing from SUNY Purchase. I am currently a Fiction Reader for The Hudson Review and an editor and event coordinator at Brown Sugar Literary Magazine. In the past, I have served as a an event production intern at The Center for Fiction.
