I live in a small coastal village in north Dublin with my husband and two young children. We live a life full of joy, laughter, travel, music and reading. I'm passionate about my work in the civil service but writing has always been an important part of my world. I didn't have the easiest of beginnings. I grew up on a farm in the West of Ireland, and whilst the setting was idyllic it wasn't a happy household. I use writing as a way to explore and understand life's questions.
