Born in the north of Scandinavia, I spent most of my youth trying to understand how the world really works. That curiosity led me deep into science and science fiction, then into a dual university degree in Engineering Physics and the Humanities, and eventually a PhD in Materials Science. My interests grew to philosophy, myth, and the human condition. I began writing diaries and long letters, then scientific papers and textbooks, and ultimately found my way back to my passion: science fiction.
