San Franciscan H.E. Ross is a sailor who writes. He started writing maritime articles at the Pulitzer Prize wining newspaper, Pt. Reyes Light and moved on to writing for newspapers and magazines in the Caribbean where he also published two magazines and started two maritime heritage preservation organisations. Ross now lives in Cornwall, England with his partner and their two children and two cats and is writing about his experiences in both non fiction and fiction.
