I live in the UK and work with children and families. I’ve been writing since childhood and now have a wardrobe full of poems, children’s books and novels in progress. I write about ordinary people navigating messy lives with humour and hope; character-led stories which unfold as I write. Outside writing, I spend time with my daughters and grandchildren, preach locally, and drink a heroic amount of Yorkshire tea.
