Born in Fredericksburg in the hill country of Texas, I came to New York at the age of 20, seeking fame and respect. I tried acting and playwriting (had several plays produced off-off Broadway. I wrote 17 psychology books, 12 novels and 3 books of illustrated books of poetry and translations of Eastern philosophy. Diary of a Madman is my 12th novel.
