G. R. Pidgeon is the author of the acclaimed Gothic historical novel THE HAUNTING OF HERN HALL. He lives in the UK, on the North Surrey Downs, close to Ashdown Forest, a landscape rich with ivy-strewn manor houses and Tudor castles. Along with his wife and three children, he is often to be found exploring the forgotten corners of ancient parish churches, reading the faded inscriptions on the backs of toppled gravestones, or climbing winding staircases in search of secret passages.
