Ernest Angst grew up in Mid Wales, but lived overseas for a large part of his life. However, wherever he travelled in the world, his first love, Crete was never far from his mind. This land of myth always called him back and he returned as often as they could to wander the ruins of Bronze Age towns and hike to hilltop temples, as well as other historic sites, including a shrine where human sacrifices were once performed!
