I was born in Sydney in 1973 to Canadian parents. After graduating from the Australian National University, I taught English in France, then worked in the Cancer Research Unit at the Canberra Hospital. In 2004 I relocated to Adelaide, where I taught French and studied English. I live with my wife Roberta in an old house across the road from the railway tracks and I'm currently teach maths and science at a school for new arrivals to Australia.
